Relaxation Massage for Partners
5 week online class
Do you want to learn how to give your partner a full body relaxation massage (without wearing your own body out)? Or maybe you want your partner to learn how to help ease your aches and pains? How about both? At the end of the session, you and your partner will have learned a full body relaxing massage that you can enjoy practicing for years to come.
Each week we will spend 90 minutes (week 5 will be 2hrs) covering a different area of the body, and learning a variety of techniques like effleurage, petrissage, and tapotement. We will also practice learning to communicate through touch as well as with constructive feedback to improve our connections with our partners, and grow our confidence in giving a good massage. On the final day of class, we will do a guided full body massage.
All classes will be recorded, and available to students in the class. So don't worry if you have to miss a class. You can always watch later to catch up.
You will need a massage table (or weight-bearing hip height table) and massage lotion or oil (coconut, almond, and grapeseed oils all work great) for this class.
After registering, and before each Saturday, you will receive an email with a zoom link for that week's class.
This class is meant for personal practice, and is not designed to teach you to be a professional Massage Therapist. If you have any pre-existing health conditions, injuries, or are pregnant, please consult your doctor before taking this class. Practice at your own risk.

Massage Class Happy Hour (focus on the feet)

Everyone is welcome. Bring a partner, or come solo and make a new friend. We will be focussing on the feet. Plan to give and receive about 20 minutes of heavenly foot massage (don't worry, I'll be walking you through). Whether you suffer from plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, or just have tired, achy feet, you will benefit from a little TLC. Aromatherapy, lotion, and beverages will be supplied. All you need to bring is a pair of willing hands, and a pair of clean feet. I hope to see you there!
Couples Massage Workshop

Give the gift of caring touch this Valentine's Day. Learn Thai Massage techniques that will be easy on your body, and leave your partner feeling sensational. Each partner will be led through a 60 minute full body massage, and every pair will receive a goody bag full of products and treats to help recreate the experience at home. Self Care Saturday

Hey active people! Let's roll out those aches and pains! whether you need a refresher on foam rolling exercises, you want to learn for the first time, or you need a group to hold you accountable for using it, this is the class for you.
We will work the kinks out of our feet, calves, IT bands, psoas, and pso-on and pso-forth ;)
Bring your foam roller (or purchase a Trigger Point Grid there for $30 (which is cheaper than all the retailers out there)), bring a yoga/exercise mat, and dress as you would for the gym.
